Board of Trustees

Our board of trustees is a pretty impressive bunch.

They meet six times a year to review and comment on plans and performance, review any major issues and decide on important new directions.

There are also a number of subcommittees that meet throughout the year.

Koy Thomson (Chairperson)  is Chief Executive of the London Cycling Campaign. Before that he worked as the International Director for Policy at Action Aid and as the Assistant Executive Director at the International Institute for Environment and Development.

Adam Edwards (Company Secretary) is a partner in Cumberland Ellis, a city firm of solicitors.

Kiran Patel (Treasurer) is a Chartered Accountant and Partner at Weston Kay, and a keen runner having completed five marathons in aid of FYF.

Stephen Ogle (Honorary Accountant) is a retired finance director and management consultant.

Rob Donnelly is the Head of Africa Programmes at Traidcraft Exchange. Previously he has worked in Southern and Western Africa in a number of different capacities.

Sharon Jackson is the International Fundraising Manager at ActionAid. She has worked in international development and fundraising since 1999, having also worked for WaterAid and Harvest Help.

Linda Perry is Guardian for the Innocent Foundation, and was the Corporate Social Responsibility Manager for Zurich Financial Services.

Sue Stoessl was Head of Marketing at Channel 4 at its inception and has acted as marketing consultant to TV AM, Yorkshire TV, Associated Newspapers, News International and the British Film Institute.
