Comedy Night at Vibe Bar

On Thursday 10th June Tom Webb, a much sought after comedy compere, steered us through a night of brilliant performances from some of London's finest comedians.   

 Imran Yusuf, ‘renowned for his stinging, lyrical street-slang verbiage and super-high energy performances’  (Comedy Corporate) gave a stunning 20 minute slot that had the audience in stitches.

He played alongside Mark Restuccia, an Amused Moose Hot Starlet in Edinburgh 2008; Lou Sanders, whose stand up shows at Edinburgh received 4 star reviews in 2009; Roisin Conaty, a regular MC at some of the top comedy clubs in the capital and Max Dowler, a Laughing Horse New Act of the Year 2010 semi-finalist.

Jonathan Pam, Neil D'Souza, Darren Walsh and Dean Roberts, three of East London's finest new comics, also took to the stage, treating the audience to some very original comedy!

All together the evening raised over £500 for our important work in rural India and Malawi.

This fantastic amount could provide training, tools and support for 10 people in India to set up small businesses using indigenous skills such as bamboo work.

This will enable them to earn a sustainable income for themselves and their families. Not bad for an evening's entertainment!
