On Thursday 10th December a team of dedicated Find Your Feet volunteers held a fantastic night of entertainment at Vibe Bar, Brick Lane.

'Find Your Feet', a 'spicy mix of comedy, live music, retro beats and dance' was a resounding success.

The audience was treated to a full line up from Comedians Miles Jupp, Shreya Dance Arts, Ben Anstis and Spencer Mac DJ.

And, to top it all, various members of the audience went away with incredible prizes from Abel and Cole, Australian Bodycare, Bollywood Grooves, Brown-Forman Wines, Cafe Direct, Divine Chocolate, Manna Cuisine, Orion Publishing Group, The Ritzy Cinema, Sawday's, Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre and Suma.

All together the team raised an amazing £ 1,300 for our important work. This fantastic amount could:

• Train two members of a Malawian community to act as lead farmers in their community, enabling them to teach 40 fellow farmers sustainable farming techniques that will improve their harvests.

• AND provide training, tools and support for 10 people in India to set up small businesses using indigenous skills such as bamboo work. This will enable them to earn a sustainable income for themselves and their families.

• AND provide long-term training and support to 75 Indian women, empowering them to transform their communities by accessing basic government services such as clean water, education and healthcare.

Pretty life changing stuff! And all for a night of amazing entertainment. A massive thank you to everyone who contributed - to the performers, to Vibe Bar for the fantastic venue, to the companies who donated to the raffle, to our compere Sam and last but not least to the amazing team of volunteers that made it happen!
