We don't depend on anybody anymore. Now we are strong as a group and they have to listen to us. For example now we decide where wells are going to be built. We don't even depend on the money lenders. I took out a loan of 500 Rs for seeds and irrigation. I grew a good potato and mustard crop and was able to sell potatoes for a profit of 1500 Rs and mustard oil for 500 Rs. With this extra money I was able to buy a new door and a bullock."
